Building the Next Generation

Two young technicians spent their days trained and mentored by a senior engineer and technician for the Paiton 3 Expansion Project—the first new-generation coal facility in Indonesia, part of the Paiton thermal power plants in East Java, Indonesia. These young men are part of dozens young graduates invited to be trained in class and on site, before going on to complete eight months of full-time placements the following year. The tutor teaches them everything they need to know in a program that is conducted in finding local skills.
